In this very unhappy tale of post-apocalyptic survival, Helen must lead the survivors of the Shame through South Spring Ridge. Accompanied by Jack and Maria, Helen has more than a few dark suspicions about what Jack really is.
Also, this is Jack’s first iteration as a woman, though it won’t be the last.
South Spring Ridge appears abandoned, but the survivors of Shame must travel through it in order to avoid the pursuing presence of the wolves, namely Cory, who is still looking for Paige. Even though South Spring Ridge appears abandoned, the question one has to ask is “Why was it abandoned?”
