CLASSIC EVIL BATTLES ELDRITCH HORROR!
Welcome to Bloody Twine Presents #7! BT Presents #7 features Castle of the Betrayed, a novella originally published in Bloody Twine #7.
In the year of our Lord 1926, Samuel P. Gilford is an ordinary agent for a banking firm, but he is on a not-so-ordinary assignment to secure a London property for the imposing Count Alexandru Recolta, the absolute, iron-fisted ruler of the city of Luna Plina, Romania.
At the same time, Professor Archibald Moore disturbs the cursed site of Cele Trei Pietre, the Three Stones, and finds what he has been searching for: an ancient artifact that allows contact with forgotten, antediluvian gods.
Now Samuel is embroiled in Moore’s plot to overthrow Count Alexandru Recolta—a plot involving a horrific plague that turns people into abominations which culminates in a showdown between a vampire lord and the union of a vampiress with a nameless horror from beyond the stars!
Castle of the Betrayed is divided into two parts, and here’s an excerpt from each:

Imagine walking into an abandoned storage room filled with old newspapers and magazines, all articles stacked in bundles neatly tied with twine, but then you discover other bundles, bundles not so neatly tied, ragged bundles of yellowed and partially charred paper tied in bloodstained twine.
You see, some stories are meant to educate, and some stories are meant to entertain, but some stories…some stories are simply looking for a victim.
Enjoy.
