Welcome to Bloody Twine Presents #6! BT Presents #6 features Whitechapel, a novella published within Bloody Twine #6.
In this new James the Riftwalker story, James is a mercenary who explores dangerous areas where breaches from other universes have opened. These breaches release nightmares from the darkest depths of the void, but they also release treasures of untold value, treasures imbued with amazing magical properties, treasures worth risking death to obtain.
In Whitechapel, James decides to take a break from closing breaches by taking a vacation in Hollowstone. In so doing, he reluctantly takes a job from the mysterious Lenore from Whitechapel, who informs him a minotaur is killing the helpless, lower-class women of her fair city. James travels to Whitechapel with Lenore in her carriage and hunts the Minotaur of Whitechapel with the help of Kit Moncada, a young man who is unwittingly James’ biggest fan.
Whitechapel is divided into two parts, and here’s an excerpt from each:

The man was standing in the soft glow of his own lantern, a lantern which he held aloft in his left, black-gloved hand, as it was most definitely the middle of the night outside…

Imagine walking into an abandoned storage room filled with old newspapers and magazines, all articles stacked in bundles neatly tied with twine, but then you discover other bundles, bundles not so neatly tied, ragged bundles of yellowed and partially-charred paper tied in bloodstained twine.
You see, some stories are meant to educate, and some stories are meant to entertain, but some stories…some stories are simply looking for a victim.
Enjoy.
