In this little segue, Dulp, with his newfound street cred, escorts his four daughters back to the South Quarter along with Jenny and Skippy. While there, the whole gang runs into a very mud-covered and very naked Plain Jane!
Jane’s been stripped, mudslung, and tied to a pole thanks to two very miffed bogos, Tall Sally and Akira the Blade, and because of this, Skippy finds out why the gobs think Jane is tremendously ugly!
It turns out Jane is actually a “plainer,” a half-breed (half-goblin/half-halfling), and because the goblins think halflings to be fantastically ugly, they think Jane is a refugee from a horror show. Much to Skippy’s surprise, Plain Jane is drop dead gorgeous, invoking the ire of a very jealous Jenny!
